Bardsey sports club which was built in 1974 is to be reconstructed  in ambitious plans to redevelop and enlarge both the playing and social aspects of both the football and   cricket   sections which currently use the clubhouse as their headquarters. 

We are part of the community of   Bardsey cum Rigton  and hope that the new clubhouse will provide a welcome addition to the wide range of sports and leisure facilities within the local area.

The new development will include 4 enlarged changing rooms with en-suite showers and separate changing facilities for four officials. This will enable us to provide secure changing facilities for Junior and female sports teams.

The main clubhouse will incorporate a new social area complete with kitchen and dedicated TV area. The members lounge will be seperate enabling the club to accommodate outside and community  functions without compromising the enjoyment of members.

The football club is also keen to enhance its ties with Bardsey Junior School. In the coming year we hope to form a team from the induction year. 

As part of the clubs Football Development plan we intend to expand to teams from every year. We are particularly keen to involve parents and carers and will provide training to at least the  FA level 1 Coaching Certificate. All club personnel involved with children up to and including U'17 level are checked by the CRB department of the FA.

We are particularly keen to encourage any ladies who wish to form teams and will provide training wherever possible.At present girls can play in mixed teams up to and including u'14 level.
